Restructuring Associate — Insolvency & Restructuring, New York

Top-tier New York office seeks a Restructuring Associate to join a busy Insolvency & Restructuring group. The role involves representing debtors, committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other stakeholders in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters.

Ideal candidates will have strong drafting, research and analytical skills, courtroom/deposition preparation experience a plus, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative team. The position offers meaningful hands-on responsibility, structured training and mentorship.

Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered; the hiring range for this role is $235,000–$310,000 depending on experience.

• 2–4 years’ experience in restructuring/insolvency work (Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings)
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to and good standing with the New York Bar
• Strong research, writing and communication skills; ability to manage competing deadlines
