Senior restructuring lawyer sought to join a national restructuring team in Manchester. This transactional and advisory-facing role will lead complex restructuring assignments, working closely with national colleagues to shape and grow the local offering.

The team advises across the full spectrum of financial and organisational restructurings, including solvent and insolvent business sales, distressed M&A, asset recovery, enforcement and stakeholder negotiations. You will act for a diverse range of clients such as lenders, insolvency practitioners, corporate boards and turnaround advisers.

Proven experience in restructuring and advisory work (transactional and corporate workout experience).
Ability to lead and project-manage multi-stakeholder restructurings and distressed transactions.

Track record of supervising and developing junior lawyers.
Commercial mindset with enthusiasm for business development and shaping a local market offering.
