Top-tier international law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate to join its Restructuring & Special Situations practice in Salt Lake City. The role offers regular engagement on Chapter 11 matters, out-of-court workouts, distressed M&A and cross-border insolvency matters for clients across industries.

You'll work on courtroom and transactional workstreams, including drafting pleadings and transactional documents, supporting debt restructurings and distressed acquisitions, and assisting on bankruptcy litigation and creditor rights matters. The team handles both domestic reorganizations and cross-border insolvency matters.

Strong candidates will join a national practice team and receive mentorship and exposure to complex restructurings and workouts. Applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, law school transcript and a writing sample.

2–4 years' experience in restructuring and bankruptcy practice (creditor rights, distressed M&A, bankruptcy litigation, or cross-border insolvency)
Experience with out-of-court restructurings, debt exchange transactions, court appearances and drafting pleadings preferred
Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills; writing sample required
In good standing with the Utah bar
