Join a national firm’s Risk & Compliance team as a Risk Lawyer, based in Edinburgh with hybrid and flexible working options. The role supports risk management across multiple UK offices and will include work on partnership office matters, regulatory compliance and firm-wide policies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on client engagement terms, outside counsel guidelines and supplier agreements; supporting partnership governance and onboarding; conducting periodic policy reviews and implementing updates; and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on SRA, Law Society and other regulator matters.

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE and prior experience in risk/compliance within a law firm or professional services environment
Experience advising on contractual arrangements, client engagement terms and regulatory requirements (e.g. SRA/Law Society frameworks)
Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills; proactive, solutions-oriented and able to manage competing priorities
Collaborative mindset with an interest in supporting junior colleagues and working across multiple offices
