Senior in-house risk lawyer role in the General Counsel / Risk & Compliance team of a major London law firm. You will work on complaints, investigations and matters engaging the firm's professional indemnity insurance, providing practical, commercial legal advice across the business.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and resolving client complaints, assisting internal investigations and service reviews, engaging with professional indemnity arrangements and insurers, and supporting training and process improvements to reduce risk and uphold client service standards.

Qualified solicitor (traditional or alternative route).
Significant experience handling investigations, complaints and/or claims in a contentious insurance or law firm compliance role.
Strong knowledge of the regulatory and insurance landscape, including the Legal Ombudsman and professional indemnity insurers.
Excellent drafting, record-keeping and stakeholder communication skills; able to influence senior internal clients.
Organised, resilient and collaborative team player with experience managing a varied caseload and competing priorities.
