Join a busy corporate practice in Chicago as a securities attorney focusing on SEC compliance and public-company matters. You will work on periodic SEC reporting, Section 16 filings, proxy statement matters, and public offering and registration workstreams.

The team advises public companies and their boards and executives on reporting obligations, corporate governance, and listing requirements. The role offers direct client responsibility within a collaborative group that values strong writing and technical securities experience.

  • At least 4 years of securities experience with federal and state securities laws, particularly SEC reporting under the Exchange Act.
  • Substantial experience preparing Form 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, Section 16 filings and proxy-related disclosures.
  • Experience with Securities Act matters, including IPOs, secondary offerings and shelf registrations.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and exchange listing requirements.
  • Excellent writing, research and analytical skills.
  • Strong academic credentials and ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
  • Admission to the relevant state bar or eligibility to waive in.
