Senior Associate / Associate Director, Consumer Finance — Bristol (London option)

Join a market-leading financial services group as a Senior Associate / Associate Director focusing on consumer finance. The role sits across Bristol and London offices and involves advising on consumer lending, payments and FinTech products for banks, FinTechs and large corporate clients.

The team advises on regulated consumer credit and payment propositions, working across regulatory, commercial and product implementation issues. You will collaborate with colleagues across finance, technology and data/privacy teams on new product launches and regulatory work.

• Qualified solicitor with solid experience in consumer finance / financial services law.
• Practical knowledge of consumer credit regulation (CCA, CONC) and applicable conduct rules (MCOB, BCOBS) and FSMA/RAO implications for regulated lending.
• Experience advising on regulated credit products (consumer loans, overdrafts, current accounts, mortgages) and familiarity with payments/FinTech issues desirable.
• Strong commercial drafting, project management and client-facing skills; comfortable working across multi-disciplinary teams.
