Senior Associate / Associate, International Arbitration — Berlin

Join a well-established international disputes team as a Senior Associate/Associate focusing on international arbitration. The role covers the full arbitration lifecycle including pre‑arbitral strategy, case management, pleadings, hearings and enforcement or challenge of awards.

You will work on cross‑border matters, assist with evidentiary processes and hearings, liaise with arbitral institutions, and contribute to business development and thought leadership. The team supports ongoing training, mentoring responsibilities and exposure to high‑profile international arbitrations.

• 2–3 years' post‑qualification experience in international arbitration and disputes, preferably in an international firm
• Civil‑law qualification (continental European jurisdictions preferred); additional common‑law qualifications advantageous
• Fluency in English and Mandarin; additional European languages beneficial
• Proven drafting and advocacy support experience (pleadings, witness statements, expert reports), strong research and procedural skills
• Organised team player with attention to detail and willingness to mentor junior lawyers
