Senior Associate, Aviation — Sydney

Join a national specialist insurance practice in Sydney as a Senior Associate within its aviation and aerospace team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of aviation matters including hull and passenger liability, regulatory issues, cargo, third‑party property damage and policy coverage/wording disputes.

You will work on both litigated and non‑litigated matters for insurers, underwriters, carriers, airports and aviation service providers, collaborating with an experienced, supportive team on complex, high‑profile files.

• Minimum ~5 years' post‑qualification experience in general liability or insurance litigation.
• Aviation sector experience highly regarded but transferable liability experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated litigation and/or advisory capability on liability, coverage or regulatory issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation skills, attention to detail and ability to mentor junior lawyers.
