Top-tier New York-headquartered firm is seeking a senior-level lateral associate to join its Los Angeles capital markets team. The role focuses on a full range of equity and debt capital markets matters, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, investment-grade and high-yield debt, convertibles and private placements, as well as related public disclosure and corporate governance work.

The team handles both traditional and complex, bespoke transactions (tender and exchange offers, consent solicitations, rights offerings, spin-offs and restructurings) and advises a diverse client base across public and private companies, investment banks and private equity. The position offers hybrid working (primarily Monday–Thursday in the office) and participation in an enhanced mentor program for lateral hires.

The expected starting base salary range disclosed for this role is $390,000–$435,000, with potential eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus.

Classes of 2020 and later (approximately 3+ years post-qualification) with capital markets/securities experience
Demonstrated experience on IPOs, public and private equity offerings and debt financings (investment-grade and high-yield)
Comfort advising on public disclosure, SEC-related securities issues and corporate governance
Ability to manage complex, high-value transactions and work collaboratively with deal teams; relocation candidates welcome
