Senior Associate, Commercial Disputes — Canberra

Senior commercial disputes lawyer opportunity in Canberra within a busy, nationally connected litigation team. You will join a dynamic dispute resolution practice handling a mix of regulatory, judicial review and commercial litigation matters and will work as part of a cohort on a significant government dispute.

The role involves close collaboration with senior colleagues and a team of lawyers and paralegals across jurisdictions, direct client engagement, and responsibility for conducting complex litigation tasks while also supervising and developing more junior staff.

• Operating at Senior Associate level with solid commercial litigation experience in a respected disputes practice.
• Experience in regulatory investigations, government disputes or judicial review matters highly regarded.
• Proven ability to manage workflows under pressure, delegate and supervise junior lawyers and paralegals.
• Strong analytical, research and drafting skills and proven client-facing capability.
• Eligible for or able to obtain baseline security clearance.
