Senior-level commercial disputes lawyer role within a national disputes team based in Canberra. You will join a busy litigation practice working on a significant Commonwealth government matter while contributing to a broader portfolio of regulatory, judicial review and corporate dispute work.

The role involves close collaboration with partners, lawyers and paralegals locally and across other offices, with regular client engagement. The team acts for government agencies, regulated entities and corporate clients on investigations, judicial review and regulatory disputes.

Senior Associate / equivalent level with strong commercial litigation experience in a well-regarded disputes practice
Proven experience on regulatory investigations and government disputes (desirable)
Excellent drafting, research and advocacy skills; ability to manage workflows and delegate under pressure
Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers and working as part of a team
Ability to engage effectively with government and corporate clients and build trusted relationships
Hold or be eligible to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
