Senior Associate, Commercial Litigation — Los Angeles

Established national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate to join its Los Angeles (or Oakland) litigation team focused on complex commercial disputes. The role involves managing all phases of litigation — factual investigation, discovery, pleadings, depositions, motions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and client communication — in both state and federal courts.

The team handles matters across industries with emphasis on technology, manufacturing and transportation. Candidates should be comfortable handling hearings, conferences, and procedural matters, and arbitration experience is a plus. California-based candidates: the posted compensation range for this role in California is $240,000 to $275,000 (commensurate with experience). The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and bonus opportunities.

• 6–10 years of commercial litigation experience handling complex matters
• Demonstrated courtroom experience and comfort leading hearings and procedural matters in state and federal courts
• Active California bar membership and admission (or ability to obtain) to relevant federal courts
• Experience with discovery, motions practice, depositions, and client-facing work; arbitration and administrative proceedings experience beneficial
• Strong academic credentials, excellent judgment, written and oral communication skills, and ability to manage multiple matters under pressure
