Senior Associate — Competition / Antitrust, London

Established global competition team is hiring a senior associate to join its London Competition, Regulation & Trade practice. The team advises on the full spectrum of non-contentious competition work, including merger control, foreign direct investment, cartel and behavioural investigations, state aid, public procurement and trade-related regulatory matters.

The role involves leading aspects of complex transactional and regulatory matters, supporting cross-jurisdictional mandates with colleagues across Europe, Asia and Australia, and helping to develop client relationships. You will work on high-profile, technically sophisticated competition mandates across regulated sectors.

• At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in a strong UK competition/antitrust practice.
• Experience advising on merger control/FDI and/or behavioural investigations desirable.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical and project management skills; ability to work on cross-border matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills; evidence of academic excellence (e.g. 2:1 degree or equivalent) and professional qualifications.
