Senior Associate — Competition & Consumer (Sydney)

Join a market-leading national Competition & Regulatory team as a Senior Associate based in Sydney. The role offers regular exposure to high‑profile merger work, contentious competition and consumer investigations and litigation, ACCC market studies and industry regulation matters across a broad range of sectors.

You will work collaboratively with senior lawyers across the national practice, lead aspects of matters, engage directly with clients and supervise junior team members. The team operates nationally and the role may also be considered for candidates located in Melbourne or Canberra.

• 0–4 years post‑admission experience in competition/consumer law
• Experience with regulatory investigations, Part IV Competition and Consumer Act and Australian Consumer Law matters or equivalent overseas competition law experience
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex legal issues, provide practical commercial advice and lead matter delivery
• Strong written, analytical, research and communication skills; experience mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development
• Previous experience at an Australian or international law firm or a competition regulator preferred; right to work in Australia
