Experienced construction lawyer sought for a back‑end projects role within a well‑regarded national firm’s Melbourne projects team. The role focuses on advising on construction contracts, project delivery risk, procurement and contract administration across large-scale infrastructure and property projects.

The successful candidate will work on complex contract drafting and negotiation, provide commercial risk advice through the delivery phase, support dispute avoidance strategies and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary project teams. The role includes mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development and client relationship management.

This is a hands‑on senior associate position for a candidate who wants to be heavily involved in project delivery and commercial construction work in Melbourne.

Proven senior associate experience in construction law or projects practice in Australia.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with construction contracts and related project documentation.
Practical understanding of project delivery risks, procurement and contract administration.
Ability to manage client relationships, mentor junior lawyers and work collaboratively across teams.
Admission to practice in Australia and entitlement to work in Melbourne.
