We are seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join a busy Construction and Infrastructure team in Sydney on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction work across projects, including dispute resolution, drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, and matters in domestic and international forums.

The team works on high-profile matters within a collaborative, supportive environment and provides structured professional development and mentoring. This role is suited to a commercially minded lawyer who can manage complex matters, contribute to business development, and help develop junior lawyers.

Minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience in construction law, gained at a reputable law firm or sophisticated in-house team
Experience across both contentious and non-contentious construction matters (adjudications, litigation, arbitration preferred)
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for construction documentation and contracts
Proven ability to manage matters, build client relationships and participate in business development
Team-player with coaching/supervision experience and a commitment to knowledge-sharing
