Join a market-leading corporate governance and Climate & ESG practice in Melbourne. This senior associate role involves advising boards, company secretaries, legal teams and senior executives on governance, regulatory and climate-related obligations, including mandatory reporting, disclosure frameworks and stakeholder engagement.

You will work on governance aspects of strategic corporate initiatives and M&A, support Financial Accountability Regime implementation, and monitor emerging regulatory and policy developments affecting listed and private companies. The role offers hands-on mentoring and access to structured professional development to support your progression.

  • Minimum 5 years PQE in a corporate, governance, regulatory or ESG practice
  • Strong drafting, analytical and commercial judgment
  • Direct client-facing experience with boards or senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated interest in climate, sustainability, governance or regulatory reform
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to business development; openness to using AI tools pragmatically
