An established international law firm is recruiting a Senior Associate to join its national Energy transactional team in Australia. The role will be based across the firm's Melbourne or Sydney offices and involves leading significant aspects of high-value, cross-border energy and resources transactions, with a strong focus on renewables and energy transition work.

You will work on complex M&A, joint ventures and infrastructure-related deals for corporate and institutional clients, collaborating with domestic and international teams. The role offers senior-level responsibility on market-leading matters, opportunities for secondments and regular exposure to global colleagues.

5–7 years PQE in transactional work at a top-tier or leading international law firm
Proven experience on energy or resources transactions (M&A and joint ventures preferred; oil & gas/mining experience advantageous)
Track record of leading matter workstreams, mentoring junior lawyers and supervising teams
Commercial, client-facing mindset with demonstrable business development and project-management skills
