Senior Associate — Corporate (M&A), Melbourne

Established Melbourne team seeks a Senior Associate to join its corporate group with a focus on mergers & acquisitions. The role will work on cross-border and domestic transactional matters across a range of sectors, supporting partners and senior lawyers on deal execution and client advice.

This is a hands-on position for a lawyer who enjoys project-managing complex transactions, drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, conducting due diligence and providing commercial legal advice to corporate clients.

• Proven transactional M&A experience at senior associate level in a reputable law firm or in-house team
• Admission to practice in Australia and eligibility to work in Victoria
• Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters, supervise junior lawyers and work effectively with partners
