Senior Associate — Corporate, M&A & Securities, Atlanta

Highly regarded US law firm seeks a senior-level corporate associate to join its Corporate, M&A and Securities practice. The role focuses on private equity and middle‑market M&A transactions, supporting sponsor and portfolio‑company work across the investment lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related transaction documents, manage deal processes, and advise on governance and exits. The team operates across the firm’s U.S. offices and offers visible opportunities for professional growth.

The firm expects in‑office presence (generally at least three business days per week) and values strong communication, commercial judgment, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

• 5–7 years of transactional experience with emphasis on M&A and private equity.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related documentation.
• Proven track record supporting private equity sponsors and portfolio companies (platforms, add‑ons, governance, exits), preferably in middle‑market deals.
• JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and ability to be licensed in the hiring jurisdiction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and business sense; large national or international firm experience preferred.
• Willingness to work in the office at least three days per week and reside in the hiring jurisdiction at or prior to hire.
