Senior Associate, Corporate M&A — Sydney

Senior Associate opportunity in a busy Corporate M&A team based in Sydney. You will work on complex public and private M&A and private equity transactions across sectors including infrastructure, real estate, biotech, data storage and transport, acting for major investors, funds and corporates.

The role involves leading key aspects of deals — negotiating and drafting transaction documentation, managing portions of the deal process, and providing hands‑on supervision and mentoring to junior team members. The team works collaboratively across practice groups on multi‑disciplinary transactions.

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in Corporate M&A at a leading commercial firm
• Proven experience on private M&A and private equity transactions; strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and supervise junior lawyers
• Excellent academic record, strong interpersonal and client service skills, and a commercial mindset with interest in business development
