Senior Associate / Counsel, Corporate & Private Equity — Chicago

Join a major Chicago corporate team as a Senior Associate or Counsel focused on private equity and fund-related work. The role will support a busy deal practice advising sponsors, managers and investors on private equity transactions and fund formation.

Typical matters include buyouts, minority and growth investments, roll-ups and related transactional work, plus representation of emerging managers and limited partners on fund formation and governance. The team handles a full range of transaction phases from diligence and structuring through documentation and closing.

• Demonstrated experience on private equity and fund-formation matters (transactional drafting, negotiation and deal execution).
• Comfort advising sponsors, general partners and institutional investors across buyouts, growth/minority investments and related transactions.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to manage multiple matters and client relationships.
