Join a nationally recognised professional and commercial risk team advising on directors' & officers' (D&O) and other financial‑lines coverage matters. The role offers a mix of coverage opinion work and defence of D&O claims, with regular interaction with insurer clients and collaborative work alongside employment, regulatory and fraud specialists.

This position provides exposure to complex coverage issues across crime, financial institutions and management liability policies, opportunities for client engagement and business development, and a flexible, supportive environment that encourages technical development and secondment experience.

At least 3 years' PQE, ideally with a specialist insurance practice or in‑house at a financial‑lines insurer
Practical experience advising on coverage under financial‑lines policies, particularly D&O/management liability
Strong written advisory skills with the ability to produce clear coverage opinions and reports
Excellent client relationship and handling skills; comfortable dealing directly with insurer clients
Self‑sufficient and commercially minded approach to legal issues; adaptable to change and new initiatives
Team‑oriented, willing to share knowledge and support colleagues; secondment experience with a financial‑lines insurer is beneficial
