Experienced derivatives lawyer (4+ PQE) sought to join a market-facing derivatives team in London. The role offers responsibility for complex, high-quality transactions across a range of asset classes, working with clients, counterparties and internal stakeholders to deliver pragmatic commercial advice.

Typical duties include drafting and negotiating confirmations and ancillary documentation, running transactions end-to-end (including loan hedging, deal-contingent and structured repo matters), preparing industry/legal opinions and developing broader practice capabilities. The team values collaboration, technical excellence and commercial judgement.

Qualified solicitor with 4+ years PQE.
Strong technical knowledge of derivatives products, markets and relevant financial regulation.
Proven experience drafting and negotiating derivatives documentation and managing transactions end-to-end.
Comfortable advising across multiple asset classes and liaising directly with clients and counterparties.
Trained at a well-regarded City or international law firm; proactive team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
