Senior associate opportunity in a national employment team based in Manchester. The role sits in a busy practice advising employers on a broad range of non-contentious and contentious employment matters, with particular strength in collective and trade union issues, TUPE and senior executive matters.

The post will involve advising on restructures and redundancy programmes, collective consultation and industrial action, TUPE transfers, change programmes and transactional employment support (including employment warranties and due diligence). You will work directly with client teams and support more junior lawyers on matters across the full employment lifecycle.

5–8 years' post-qualification employment experience (PQE)
Strong technical knowledge of TUPE, collective employment issues and employer-side advisory work
Proven drafting, analytical and communication skills; attention to detail
Comfortable working autonomously and handling client-facing responsibility; experience supervising junior lawyers desirable
Commercial mindset with examples of involvement in business development or marketing activities; litigation experience preferred
