Senior Associate — Finance (Borrower-side) — New York

Senior-associate role on a major New York finance team focused on borrower-side lending transactions. The role sits in a busy corporate finance practice handling syndicated loans, leveraged financings and related security documentation.

The team seeks an experienced transactional lawyer to work on multi-party deals, lead drafting and negotiations, and mentor junior associates. The group works on complex, market-facing financings for corporate borrowers across industries.

• 7+ years' post-qualification finance and lending experience (senior associate level)
• Demonstrated borrower-side transactional experience on syndicated and leveraged financings
• Strong academic record and excellent drafting and negotiating skills
• Previous experience at a large, top-tier New York law firm preferred; complete deal list/transactional matters sheet required for consideration
