Senior associate opportunity in a market-leading insurance practice based in Melbourne. The role focuses on financial lines and professional indemnity (including construction-related PI) and directors’ & officers’ matters, with exposure to coverage advice, regulatory work, class action defence and high-value disputes.

You will join a collaborative team handling litigated matters across state and federal courts and tribunals, working with insurers, external counsel, experts and clients on complex professional liability and construction-related disputes.

The role offers career development, cross-jurisdictional experience and the chance to build deep technical expertise in insurance defence and commercial litigation within an established international practice.

Minimum 4 years' PQE in commercial litigation, insurance or professional indemnity.
Proven litigation experience: drafting pleadings and advices, conducting legal research and attending hearings/compulsory conferences.
Experience on professional indemnity, D&O and construction-related insurance matters; exposure to class action defence advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication, file management and ability to manage competing priorities.
Client-focused, commercially minded, collaborative and self-motivated.
