Senior Associate — Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR), Brussels

Market-leading antitrust team in Brussels is hiring a Senior Associate to join a dedicated Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) group. The role sits at the forefront of a fast-developing area of EU law and offers frequent involvement in cross-border M&A, public procurement and market investigations under the FSR regime.

The successful candidate will prepare and lead FSR filings, develop client-facing compliance solutions (including use of a proprietary FSR software toolkit), and advise on exposure, remedies and strategic responses. The role includes client-facing responsibility, project management and mentoring of junior lawyers.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters for international clients and to contribute to a growing practice’s thought leadership and processes.

• Qualified to practise in an EEA jurisdiction
• Approximately 5–7 years' PQE in EU competition, state aid, merger control or public procurement law, ideally with FSR experience
• Proven experience preparing regulatory filings and managing multi-jurisdictional projects
• Strong analytical, drafting, communication and team leadership skills
