Senior Associate — Fraud (Insurance)

Senior Associate opportunity within a nationally recognised insurance fraud team. The role sits with the Liverpool office, with openness to candidates based in Manchester; the team operates a hybrid approach with typical office attendance once per week.

You will lead on complex, high-value fraudulent claims (motor, EL/PL, staged/contrived accidents and organised fraud rings), provide strategic advice to major insurer clients, and contribute to litigation strategy, advocacy and trial preparation.

The role includes supervision and mentoring of junior fee-earners, involvement in business development, and responsibilities for file strategy, innovation and cost management.

• Minimum 4 years PQE with experience in insurance fraud, personal injury or catastrophic injury (claimant or defendant).
• Proven ability to run a complex caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills; experience supervising junior lawyers.
• Commercial awareness and client-service focus, with experience contributing to business development.
• Hands-on litigation experience including advocacy and trial preparation.
• Willingness to be based in Liverpool or Manchester and work in a hybrid model.
