Law firm with a major international funds practice is hiring a (Senior) Associate to join its Amsterdam Funds & Asset Management team. The team advises fund managers, institutional investors and financial institutions on fund structuring, formation, carried interest arrangements and cross-border fund matters across asset classes including private equity, venture, infrastructure and private credit.

Day-to-day work mixes transactional and advisory matters: structuring and establishing funds, advising investors on investments, supporting regulatory and compliance matters and working on strategic M&A-related aspects for asset managers. You will join an international, multidisciplinary team and have access to formal and on-the-job global training.

Qualified lawyer (Netherlands or equivalent) with several years' post-qualification experience in funds, asset management or related financial services work.
Practical experience in fund formation and structuring (Dutch and cross-border structures) and familiarity with carried interest arrangements.
Good understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. AIFMD, MiFID, sustainable finance rules) and experience advising managers or institutional investors on regulatory/compliance issues.
Commercial, detail-oriented, able to manage complex cross-border matters and work effectively in an international team. Strong drafting and client-facing skills in English; Dutch language skills desirable.
