Established national law firm is seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney to join its Walnut Creek office. The role focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith matters, representing insurers and related entities in coverage opinions, declaratory relief litigation, mediations, and other dispute-resolution forums.

The ideal candidate will handle first-party property and general liability coverage issues, draft coverage opinions, and participate in litigation tasks such as taking depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and appearing in court. The team values strong research and writing skills and offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to broaden insurance-focused litigation experience.

8–15 years of post-qualification experience in insurance coverage and/or related litigation
Experience preparing coverage opinions and handling first-party property and general liability matters
Litigation experience including depositions, motion practice, and courtroom exposure
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Admission to the California Bar
