Senior Associate — Insurance / General Liability Litigation, Melbourne

An established global law firm is hiring a senior associate (approximately 2+ years’ post‑admission) to join its Insurance Litigation / General Liability team in Melbourne. The role offers substantive litigation work, managing and defending public liability, personal injury and property claims, and acting for government and large institutional clients and self‑insured entities.

You will work within a collaborative, supportive team and be expected to run day‑to‑day aspects of files with appropriate supervision, appear in court as required, and contribute to practice and firm initiatives.

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of ~2 years’ post‑admission experience in litigation (private practice preferred)
• Experience handling public liability, personal injury and/or WorkCover matters and conducting defence work
• Proven drafting, advocacy and court appearance experience appropriate to level
• Strong client service, organisation, written and oral communication skills; collaborative team player
