Established national Australian insurance practice is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its Perth team. The role will lead complex workers' compensation and related personal injury matters for insurer and employer clients, taking ownership of high-value files and contributing to strategic risk-management work.

You will work within a collaborative, high-performing team, mentor junior lawyers and help develop best-practice approaches across the practice. The team offers exposure to significant insurer-focused work and opportunities for career progression within a well-regarded national firm.

Appointment is subject to background screening where applicable.

Qualified lawyer with 5+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Australia.
Proven experience in workers' compensation and personal injury matters, ideally with a defendant/insurer focus; transferable plaintiff experience will be considered.
Track record of managing files, providing strategic advice and mentoring junior lawyers.
Excellent drafting, analytical and commercial problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail.
