Senior Associate — Intellectual Property (Chemistry) — Boston

Established global IP practice seeks a Senior Associate with a chemistry background to join a cross-office team handling high‑value patent work. The role involves both patent prosecution and support on contentious matters, working with multidisciplinary teams across technology and life‑sciences matters.

The position may be based in the Boston office (other US office locations are also options). You will work with experienced patent attorneys on drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications, advising on strategy, and supporting litigation and enforcement as needed.

Applicants should be prepared to provide law school and academic transcripts as part of the process.

• Advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or closely related field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to practice; registration with the USPTO preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in patent prosecution and familiarity supporting IP litigation matters.
• Strong drafting, analytical and client‑facing skills; ability to collaborate across offices and practice groups.
