Senior Associate — Intellectual Property (Chemistry), Boston

Join a leading international intellectual property practice as a Senior Associate focusing on chemistry-related matters. The role involves patent prosecution and handling IP litigation matters as part of a team of experienced IP attorneys.

The position may be based in the Boston office (with flexibility for placement in several U.S. offices). You will work on cutting-edge chemistry and life-sciences matters, collaborating with cross-office teams on prosecution strategy and litigation support.

Candidates should be prepared to submit law school and undergraduate (and any graduate) transcripts as part of the application process.

• Technical background in chemistry (advanced degree or relevant coursework preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in patent prosecution for chemistry or life‑science inventions; litigation experience a plus.
• Active Bar admission and/or eligibility to practice in the U.S.; USPTO registration preferred.
• Strong academic record and excellent drafting and analytical skills.
