Senior Associate, Intellectual Property (Chemistry) — Palo Alto

Join a leading international firm’s busy IP practice as a senior associate focused on chemistry-related matters. The role offers hands-on work across patent prosecution and litigation with experienced IP teams.

This position can be based in the Palo Alto office (candidates in other specified U.S. offices may be considered). The team handles technically sophisticated matters for clients across industries and provides exposure to cross-office collaboration.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar where required
• Technical background in chemistry (degree or equivalent experience) or demonstrated experience working on chemistry-related patent matters
• Proven experience in patent prosecution and familiarity with IP litigation procedures
• Strong drafting, technical communication, and client-facing skills
