Senior associate opportunity within a busy Melbourne intellectual property team, handling a mix of prosecution, portfolio management and IP-related litigation. You will work on trademarks, patents, designs, copyright and trade-secrets matters for Australian and international clients, with regular interaction across overseas offices.

The role requires ownership of day-to-day files, regular client contact, and responsibility for supervising and mentoring junior lawyers. You will also contribute to business development, training and firm initiatives.

Minimum 5 years' post‑qualification experience in intellectual property law
Strong IP litigation experience and experience prosecuting and advising on patents, trademarks, designs and copyright
Proven ability to run matters autonomously while collaborating with multi‑jurisdictional teams
Experience supervising/mentoring junior lawyers and participating in business development and training activities
Excellent communication skills and high level of client service
