Senior Associate / Legal Director, Dispute Resolution (Litigation & Arbitration) — Düsseldorf

Leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate / Legal Director to join its Dispute Resolution team in Düsseldorf. The role focuses on handling complex commercial disputes in national courts and international arbitration, with significant responsibility for case and team management.

You will work on a broad range of civil and procedural issues arising from commercial matters, contribute to cross-office initiatives (including legal tech and collective redress projects), and support business development and client relationship activities.

• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a demanding law firm environment
• Strong civil law and civil procedure knowledge; proven litigation and arbitration capability
• Excellent German and very good English written and spoken skills
• Strong academic record (both state examinations totalling at least 16 points)
• Demonstrable interest in digitalisation/LegalTech and collaborative, cross-office work
• For Legal Director level: experience in client development and the ability to grow and manage own mandates
