Join a national commercial IP/technology group as a senior associate / legal director handling a broad mix of IP and commercial work. You will draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts (product supply, distribution, agency, logistics/warehousing, IT agreements including software licence, SaaS and systems integration, outsourcing and managed services) and provide non-contentious IP advice and licensing support.

The role includes advising on data protection (UK GDPR), bribery and modern slavery compliance, managing trademark portfolios and supporting resolution of IP disputes. You will work closely with regional and national colleagues to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice and build long-term client relationships.

Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with current practising certificate
Approximately 7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial/IP work
Proven contract drafting and negotiation skills across commercial and IT agreements
Experience of IP licensing, trademark portfolio management and basic IP dispute handling
Knowledge of UK GDPR/data protection and compliance matters (bribery, modern slavery)
Strong communication, analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities
