Senior Associate — Leveraged Finance, Sydney

Senior associate opportunity within a market-leading Global Loans / leveraged finance team in Sydney. The role will sit on complex, larger-cap and sponsor-driven debt financings across domestic and cross-border structures.

The team advises on the full range of debt financing structures including unitranche, TLBs, holdco mezzanine and ARR financings to tech and other corporate clients. This role offers exposure to high-value transactions, client engagement and leadership of junior lawyers.

• 5+ years' loan markets / leveraged finance experience at a top-tier or well-regarded firm or in-house team
• Proven experience on leveraged financings and other complex debt structures (e.g. unitranche, TLB, mezzanine)
• Strong drafting, analytical and commercial negotiation skills; comfort working to tight deadlines
• Ability to engage directly with clients and to lead/mentor junior lawyers
