Senior Associate — M&A, Perth

Senior‑level corporate/M&A role in a Perth office of a global law firm, working on high‑value domestic and cross‑border transactions. The team advises major local and international corporates, with a particular focus on resources and energy sector work.

This is a hands‑on position offering significant responsibility on complex matters including acquisitions, restructures and divestments, private equity buyouts and exits, equity capital markets transactions (including IPOs), governance and joint ventures. The role includes mentoring junior lawyers and contributing strategically to deals.

The firm supports modern working practices and governed use of workflow‑automation and AI tools within an ISO‑certified information security framework, and promotes an inclusive, flexible workplace.

• 4+ years' post‑qualification experience in corporate/M&A at a top‑tier or major law firm
• Proven experience on complex domestic and cross‑border transactions; private equity and capital markets exposure advantageous
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills with strong commercial judgment
• Ability to build client relationships, manage transaction workstreams and mentor junior team members
• Experience with public company work and ASX rules is desirable but not essential
