Senior Associate or Principal Associate role within a national residential development team, supporting housebuilders and regional developers on land acquisition and strategic development work. The role involves leading transactions for immediate land purchases and managing strategic options across multiple projects.

You will work as part of a specialist, cross‑regional real estate team, supervising and developing junior lawyers while collaborating with colleagues on complex matters. There is an expectation to contribute to business development, support key client relationships and represent the team at sector events.

The team advises a broad range of commercial and residential developers, investors and funders and offers strong technical real estate work across the UK. This role provides scope to progress your technical skills and career while working on high‑profile residential development work.

Proven experience in real estate development work, with significant experience acting for housebuilders or residential developers.
Strong track record in land acquisitions and strategic option agreements.
Experience supervising and mentoring junior colleagues and working collaboratively across teams.
Excellent attention to detail, commercial awareness and ability to lead transactions and client engagements.
