Senior associate opportunity within a national insurance disputes team based in Manchester, focused on professional and financial lines work. The role offers a mix of intellectual challenge, client-facing responsibility and flexible working within a collaborative, multi-jurisdictional practice.

You will manage a caseload of complex and often high-value coverage and claims matters, acting as a point of contact for insurer clients, supporting senior fee-earners on larger matters and supervising junior colleagues. The remit includes both pre-action and litigated work, policy coverage advice and strategic recovery work.

Qualified UK solicitor at Senior Associate / Legal Director level with substantial professional and financial lines experience, including professional indemnity coverage issues.
Proven client-handling and relationship management skills; comfortable acting as primary contact for insurer clients.
Experience conducting pre-action and litigated matters and working to insurer protocols and SLAs.
Strong numeracy and interest in financial/money-related issues; attention to detail and creative problem-solving.
Experience supervising and coaching junior fee-earners and contributing to business development and external-facing activities.
