Senior Associate — Projects & Construction (London) — 12‑month FTC

Join a market‑leading Projects & Construction transactional team on a minimum 12‑month fixed‑term contract based in London (other regional offices may be considered). The team advises on the full lifecycle of major building, infrastructure and engineering projects across the UK and internationally.

The role focuses on high‑quality transactional construction and projects work, including drafting and negotiating construction and project documentation, supporting project financings and corporate transactions, and working alongside specialist teams in real estate, energy and project finance. You will work closely with senior lawyers across a global network and may supervise junior lawyers.

• England & Wales qualified solicitor with significant post‑qualification experience (typically 5+ PQE) in transactional construction/projects work
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating building contracts (JCT, NEC and bespoke), EPC/FIDIC and related professional appointments and warranties
• Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and pragmatic risk management
• Experience on complex infrastructure, energy, real estate or transport projects and ability to manage multiple matters to tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills and experience mentoring or supervising junior fee‑earners
