Senior Associate opportunity within a national general insurance team based in Melbourne, focused on property recovery, personal injury and subrogation work. The role offers carriage of your own files, regular court work and direct client engagement across insurer and corporate matters.

The team acts for major insurers and reinsurers on a variety of defended matters. You will work with supportive senior lawyers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and have access to structured learning and career development. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available.

Minimum five years post-admission experience in defendant insurance law, with substantive exposure to property recovery and personal injury matters
Experience advising on indemnity and managing files through court proceedings
Proven client-facing skills, strong drafting and evidence preparation abilities
Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers or paralegals; able to work autonomously and as part of a team
