Senior Associate / Special Counsel — Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Brisbane

Senior-level litigation role with a major international practice based in Brisbane. You will be a key senior resource within the firm’s dispute resolution team, providing commercial litigation advice, managing files and appearing in court as required.

The role covers a broad range of commercial disputes including contractual and shareholder disputes, consumer law and regulatory matters, leasing and property disputes, defamation and medical negligence. You will supervise and develop junior lawyers, support practice growth and assist partners on complex matters.

• Minimum 7 years post-admission commercial litigation experience.
• Proven experience in court advocacy and running contested matters.
• Experience across commercial disputes such as contractual, shareholder, regulatory/consumer law, property and professional liability matters.
• Strong client-facing, drafting and advocacy skills; ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
