Senior Associate / Special Counsel Litigation & Dispute Resolution (Sydney)

Senior-level litigation role in a commercial disputes team focused on professional and financial services matters, including claims against professionals and insurance-related disputes. The role involves running defended matters in Supreme, Federal and appellate courts, advising corporate policyholders and insurers, and contributing to precedent and knowledge resources.

You'll work with a collaborative team, supervise and develop junior lawyers, support business development activities (pitches, tenders and client meetings) and assist with matter financials including estimates and billing.

• 7+ years post-qualification experience in commercial litigation
• Experience in insurance litigation and/or insurance coverage and/or professional indemnity matters preferred
• Proven ability to run matters in superior courts and appear on behalf of clients
• Strong client-service orientation, excellent written and oral communication, and experience supervising junior lawyers
