Associate | Senior Associate – Commercial Litigation & Insolvency

Our national Dispute Resolution section is looking for a litigation lawyer to join our team in Sydney. This hands-on role offers significant learning and development opportunities while working on interesting and complex matters with a highly regarded group of partners and lawyers.

Our team of over 115 dispute resolution specialists handles the full spectrum of commercial disputes, including contractual and commercial litigation, banking and financial services disputes, restructuring and insolvency, public sector matters, property disputes, regulatory investigations, and tax disputes.

This position would suit a lawyer with strong commercial instincts and a desire to work across both contentious and non-contentious corporate restructuring and insolvency matters, as well as complex commercial litigation.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Between 3 and 5 years’ post-admission experience in Australia (essential).
• Prior experience in insolvency and restructuring, with some exposure to commercial litigation, ideally from a large or mid-sized firm or a specialist litigation practice.
• Strong communication and drafting skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
• The confidence to run matters through dispute resolution processes.
• The ability to manage a busy workload with competing deadlines.
