Senior Associate / Special Counsel — Workplace (Adelaide)

Senior Associate to Special Counsel opportunity within a well-regarded Australian workplace team based in Adelaide. The role offers exposure to a broad employer-side practice, advising on unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, bullying & harassment and related safety matters.

You will regularly appear before courts and tribunals and advise on internal and external investigations, prosecutions and inquests. The team works across private, insurance and government sectors and collaborates with other practice groups; regular client secondments and on-site work may be available.

Flexible arrangements are supported, including contract roles, part-time hours and hybrid working.

• Minimum of 6+ years post-qualification experience in employment and/or workplace health & safety practice.
• Proven track record managing matters end-to-end for employers, including unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, bullying/harassment and safety investigations/prosecutions.
• Experience appearing before courts and tribunals and conducting internal/external investigations.
• Strong analytical, drafting, leadership and mentoring skills; ability to support team growth.
